Overview

In this role you drive growth of laboratory instrumentation, reagents, and consumables across the Northeast. You work with laboratory leaders to identify opportunities, support equipment implementations, and expand market share through strategic partnerships. You collaborate with sales teams and suppliers to deliver impactful lab solutions, shaping outcomes for healthcare providers. This position emphasizes consultative selling in a field-based, regional environment with strong growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close new laboratory equipment and diagnostic sales opportunities
  • Expand existing accounts and acquire new customers to hit territory objectives for instrumentation, reagents, and consumables
  • Build relationships with laboratory leaders and decision-makers to understand needs and promote solutions
  • Support equipment evaluations, implementations, installations, and customer acceptance
  • Drive menu expansion and promote use of reagents and consumables
  • Collaborate with McKesson sales teams, supplier partners, and internal stakeholders, and contribute to proposals, planning, and presentations
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • 7 year motor vehicle record check completed as part of pre-employment
  • Laboratory diagnostics sales experience (preferred)
  • Experience selling laboratory instrumentation, reagents, and consumables (preferred)
  • Acute Care or Non-Acute Care laboratory experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Chemistry, Hematology, or Immunoassay environments (preferred)
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience (as stated)
