Overview As a Sales professional in the Pulp Service Business, you drive growth by identifying and closing opportunities across key process areas. You will cultivate customer relationships in the pulp & paper sector, coordinate with product groups, and manage forecasts and budgets. This role combines field visits, technical collaboration, and strategic account development to expand ANDRITZ's service offerings. You will engage in industry events to stay abreast of market needs and showcase solutions at scale.
Responsibilities- Sell pulp service products across process areas: Wood Yard, Cooking, Lime Kiln, Recausticizing, Evaporators, Power and Recovery Boiler, and Automation
- Visit customers regularly within designated states to uncover opportunities and develop new ones
- Follow up on quotes by gathering competitive intelligence and pricing and document in the CRM
- Maintain ongoing communication with product groups regarding opportunities
- Support and participate in negotiations to secure orders
- Develop and nurture engineering, maintenance, and operations contacts for ongoing customer relations
- Coordinate and participate in project presentations and technology updates
- Participate in industry events (e.g., Digester Seminars, BLRBAC) and other conferences
- Own territory sales forecasts, budgets, and cost controls; create strategic plans for account growth
- Document mill visits in a timely written manner via the Customer Interaction Center
Key requirements- B.S. in Engineering (CHE or ME preferred) or equivalent experience
- Proven success in sales and/or service
- Experience in the pulp & paper industry preferred
- Established relationships with pulp & paper customers in the region is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
