Overview

In this role you drive partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, translating Tempus data products into value across R&D and commercial programs. You work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that advance clinical and research objectives. The position blends scientific advisory with strategic account growth, leveraging real-world evidence to improve outcomes. You will engage with senior stakeholders, shaping how data informs drug discovery and patient care. This is a mission-driven opportunity to scale impact in precision medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals for the product line within strategic accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with R&D and commercial executives to uncover value-creation opportunities
  • Develop deep scientific understanding of customer pipelines and objectives
  • Deploy consultative approach to map Tempus offerings to client needs and drive adoption
  • Provide strategic scientific directions and reports to advance customer engagement
  • Communicate plans and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Account Team, Alliance Management and Operations to ensure pipeline success
  • Track progress against objectives and revenue goals and adapt with leadership
  • Contribute feedback to Leadership for portfolio development and maintain a solution-oriented mindset
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical industry trends, regulatory developments, and client priorities
  • Travel 30% domestically and internationally
  • Other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • 2+ years of post-graduate experience in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, immunology, public health, or related fields
  • Computational skills using SQL, Python and R with relevant statistical tools and visualization packages
  • Experience with Clinical Trial Design and/or Real World Evidence datasets
  • Experience with integrative methods to model multi-modal clinical and/or omics data
  • Proactive mindset bridging ideas to implementable solutions and stakeholder alignment
  • Proven ability to build deep relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of Drug Discovery, Translational Research / Computational Biology or Real World Evidence methodologies, especially in Oncology
  • Fostering collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting creativity and scientific excellence
  • Energetic, problem-solving oriented with ability to navigate diverse stakeholders
