Quality Manager

As Quality Manager you will lead the plant quality organization at ConMet's Northwest sites to ensure high-quality aluminum die castings and machined parts. You will drive customer-facing quality processes, supplier quality, and PPAP/8D activities, while maintaining cost effectiveness. You'll report as the Management Representative for IATF16949 and work cross-functionally to resolve issues and sustain continuous improvement. This role offers the chance to shape quality culture, scale best practices, and support critical customer commitments.

• Review on-the-floor quality issues with management to determine corrective actions
• Manage nonconforming customer returns and coordinate corrective actions (8D) with customers
• Collaborate with suppliers on incoming quality and issue supplier corrective actions
• Oversee PPAP submissions and ensure full package adequacy for customers
• Ensure supplier PPAP dimensional review and feedback to Corporate Supplier Quality
• Act as Management Representative for IATF16949 to maintain compliance and documentation
• Review customer documentation and align plant systems with requirements
• Ensure completion of required testing (dimensional, X-Ray, material, chemical) per customer needs
• Promote safety and keep quality objectives front-and-center
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor degree in a related field plus 5-10 years in quality assurance in a similar production environment
• Experience in an IATF16949 certified manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP (preferred)
• Knowledge of aluminum manufacturing principles
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
