Overview As Superintendent, you lead maintenance, operation, and management of a golf course, serving as the on-site liaison between BrightView, the customer, and the golf shop. You stay connected with key course staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to standards. You'll develop plans, manage budgets, and supervise staff while upholding safety and regulatory compliance. This role offers impact through long term course improvements and delivering high quality playing conditions.

Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct maintenance per contract specifications
- Collaborate with the customer on long term property improvement plans
- Supervise equipment operation, maintenance, and repair
- Prepare and operate within annual budget estimates
- Create and follow an annual agronomic plan within contract specs and budget
- Procure and manage supplies for maintenance
- Create and distribute maintenance activity reports
- Manage golf course staff hiring, training, discipline, and separations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and BrightView programs
- Represent BrightView professionally and maintain positive relations with employees and the public
- Meet or exceed customer expectations
Key requirements- Experience in golf course management and turf culture
- Knowledge of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers maintenance
- Degree or advanced knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, plant, or soil science
- Strong administrative and written/verbal communication skills, computer proficiency
- Certified/licensed for pesticide usage
- Familiarity with fertilizers and soil conditioners
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, wells, controls, and drainage
- Ability to prepare the course for play per golf rules and from the player's perspective
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and kneel during operations
