Overview In this role you will serve as the technical lead on waterfront, coastal and marine infrastructure projects, guiding planning, design, and construction. You'll drive coastal analyses, develop construction documents, and adopt advanced design technologies while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and help expand client relationships and the firm's technical library. This position offers remote or multiple U.S. location options and focuses on high-impact shoreline protection and marine structures.

Responsibilities- Serve as technical lead and designer on coastal, waterfront, and marine infrastructure projects
- Perform coastal condition calculations and structural analyses for shoreline protection and marine structures
- Lead development of construction documents (plans and specifications)
- Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, deliverables, and quality
- Identify and implement innovative design technologies and improve standard practices
- Maintain regulatory knowledge and support technical library development
- Support business development with technical approaches and proposals
- Act as primary technical point of contact for clients throughout projects
- Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams and support professional development
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience (feasibility, design, or construction management)
- Experience with developing construction documents (plans and specifications)
- Professional Engineer License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
