Responsibilities- Design, analyze, and engineer lighting and control systems for installation and interconnection
- Review project scope, budget, and constraints with project manager or client
- Prepare feasibility studies and schematic design packages for lighting systems
- Produce construction documents and coordinate with CAD drafters
- Edit and draft project specifications with assistance
- Conduct field measurements and site verification
- Maintain organized project files with calculations and references
- Review shop drawings and ensure conformance with contract documents
- Perform related duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3-6+ years of lighting design engineering experience
- Lighting Certification (L.C.) preferred
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in AGI32 and ElumTools
- Knowledge of facility lighting design including power distribution
- Bluebeam, BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
