Overview As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you embed with client teams to turn AI platform capabilities into measurable business value at scale. You own outcomes around time-to-value, adoption, reliability, and scalability, shaping enterprise AI adoption across complex environments. You work on building and operating AI-powered workflows that integrate with real-world systems. Responsibilities- Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across multi-stakeholder environments with major vendors (Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, SAP, Palantir)
- Own program-level delivery metrics: time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, scalability
- Drive rapid experimentation to turn ambiguous problems into production systems within days or weeks
- Architect and govern enterprise AI solutions across identity, data, security, governance, platform, and integration layers
- Shape reinvention strategy for client leadership including ROI backlogs and multi-year adoption roadmaps
- Define reusable blueprints, patterns, and accelerators for scaling across client engagements
- Lead architecture sessions, executive workshops, and code-with sessions with client teams
- Codify delivery learnings and engineering standards to evolve the FDE practice
- Travel as required (0-100% depending on business needs)
Key requirements- 10+ years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containers, serverless)
- 1+ year of deep expertise in designing and deploying agentic solutions in production
- 2+ years of experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, and open-source models) and multi-provider pipelines
- 10+ years of programming in Python, Java, or equivalent; familiarity with evaluation tooling, logging, monitoring, and agent observability
- 10+ years of production deployment experience (CI/CD, IaC like Terraform/Helm, monitoring, debugging)
- 10+ years of client communication and ability to lead technical workshops in ambiguous contexts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent or 12+ years of work experience
