Overview As a lead embedded electronics engineer, you will guide the design and development of analog and digital circuits for SharkNinja's vacuum and cleaning products. You'll work within a cross-functional engineering team to translate requirements into robust hardware and firmware, from concept through prototyping to production support. You will supervise a small team, collaborating with Product Marketing and other disciplines to ensure performance, cost, and compliance goals are met. This is a hands-on role with significant impact on customer experience and product innovation.

Responsibilities- Design and bring up analog and digital circuits including low-noise analog signal paths, ADC/DACs, microprocessors, and power supplies
- Develop and debug real-time embedded hardware platforms with simulation, prototyping, and testing
- Contribute to architecture, schematics, and software design while supporting DVT, EMC, and compliance testing
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and other engineering disciplines to provide EBOM cost estimates and finalize product implementation
- Lead design and development of consumer product electronics from concept to ongoing support
- Analyze field-reported issues to support fielded products and drive resolution
- Build prototypes to advance new products and enhance customer experience
Key requirements- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years related experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years related experience
- Experience in analog and digital embedded design for consumer products
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and firmware in C and ASM
- Strong debugging, testing, and board bring-up skills
- Experience with EMC, DVT, and compliance testing
- Ability to work fast-paced and independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience with cost estimation and EBOM analysis
