Account Executive - Loss Prevention Technology

You will drive new business and deepen relationships with retail accounts using a mix of solution selling and account management. Your work spans pre- and post-sale activities, aligning client needs with Johnson Controls solutions to fuel profitable growth and long-term retention. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and ensure successful implementation, delivering a seamless customer experience. • Develop new market share for loss prevention products and services with targeted opportunities and existing customers
• Cultivate profitable new business via relationships with multiple-level contacts in large retailers
• Manage accounts across identification, pre-sales planning, deal execution, installation planning, and post-sales follow-up
• Support post-sales satisfaction by resolving invoicing and service issues
• Maintain strong account relationships to drive retention, expansion, and long-term value
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and manufacturing teams to define product specs and enable successful implementation
• Present solutions and value propositions and close sales with mutually agreed terms
• Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans aligned to growth objectives
• Share market and product intelligence to identify additional opportunities

• BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent field experience
• Minimum 6 years in sales or sales management within retail
• Proven track record of achieving performance goals
• Experience with product and solution selling
• Experience selling to retailers and loss prevention systems at the C-level
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholders in a complex sales environment
