Overview In this role you will acquire and manage a portfolio of small business and personal clients, collaborating with RBC USWM Financial Advisors to drive CNB's full capabilities. You will educate advisors on CNB's small business offerings and facilitate qualified introductions, delivering tailored financial solutions and strong service. The position is primarily remote with periodic in-market collaboration to maximize synergies. You will build trust across partners, manage risk, and contribute to growth in deposits, loans, and fee income through strategic relationship management.

Responsibilities- Acquire and manage a portfolio of small business and personal relationships to meet deposits, lending, and fee income targets, while overseeing sales and credit pipelines
- Develop and execute a strategy for engaging RBC USWM Financial Advisors for client introductions, education, and follow-up
- Deepen client relationships through cross-selling with advisors and SME colleagues
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience and resolve escalations
- Enhance banking and sales acumen via collaboration and internal training
- Capture holistic client needs through discovery and data-driven insights to expand deposits, credit, and services
- Maintain compliance and manage risk within lending authorities and bank policies
- Interact professionally with CNB and RBC stakeholders to foster trust and referrals
- Represent the bank in civic and professional activities as appropriate
- Manage an intermediate to large-sized portfolio with a focus on loans, deposits, and consistent growth, typically $20-40MM
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a financial institution
- Deep knowledge of CNB banking products for personal and business clients
- Strong regulatory/compliance understanding (CIP and KYC)
- Understanding of the economic environment and its impact on clients
- Ability to analyze financial statements and advise accordingly
- Negotiation skills to balance bank and client needs
- Knowledge of CNB policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations
