Overview In this role, you oversee facility-wide quality, risk, infection control, and patient safety programs for outpatient services. You lead cross-disciplinary teams, including physicians and staff, to reduce clinical errors and adverse outcomes. You ensure adherence to evolving standards and communicate changes to relevant departments. You collaborate with leaders and committees to drive data-driven improvements and coordinate initiatives across the Multispecialty Center and other areas. This role represents a strategic partner to physician leadership and executive teams, shaping outpatient quality and safety programs.
Responsibilities- Oversee quality, risk, infection control, and patient safety programs for outpatient services
- Direct process improvements to reduce risk and clinical errors
- Provide leadership across disciplines including physicians/providers and staff
- Monitor regulatory standards and communicate updates to departments
- Collaborate with leaders, employees, and physicians to implement process improvements
- Coordinate data, trends, plans, interventions, and outcomes for specified centers
- Serve as liaison with physician leadership and committees
Key requirements- Ten years of director-level experience in a hospital setting
- Strong background in compliance, patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement
- Familiarity with Department functions, Joint Commission standards, Hospital Nursing and Medical Staff structures and functions, and clinical practices
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
