Overview

In this role you support lead Investment Advisors to deliver personalized wealth planning and investment guidance. You manage client relationships, assist in building investment plans, and help drive business development within a high-value advisory book. You work with a range of investment products and contribute to a structured wealth planning process to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities
  • Manage client base and identify products and services aligned with client needs
  • Provide high-quality investment advice across a broad product set (equities, fixed income, foreign/domestic)
  • Develop and document investment and wealth plans through a formal planning process
  • Handle moderately complex problems and act as escalation point when needed
  • Oversee projects or work streams and mentor junior staff
  • Collaborate with other TD areas (e.g., TD Canada Trust, TD Securities)
  • Direct and support staff in delivering professional client service
  • Assist in achieving business goals through attracting, acquiring, and retaining clients and referrals
  • Maintain risk management culture and adhere to internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement
  • Keep team informed about progress and emerging trends
  • Engage as a positive team member, mentoring others as needed
Key requirements
  • Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma with 3+ years of wealth management experience (preferred)
  • Licensed with CIRO as a Registered Representative in good standing
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within 18 months of start date
  • Insurance license (LLQP) or willingness to obtain within 1 year
  • Optional advanced designations: CIWM, CFA, CIM, CFP
