Responsibilities- Manage defense litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Serve as primary client contact and provide strategic guidance
- Conduct legal research, drafting, and analysis
- Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, manage discovery
- Take and defend depositions; participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
- handle matters across multiple practice areas including business, real estate, product, and tort litigation
Key requirements- Active membership in the Washington State Bar
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
- Strong legal writing, drafting, and research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with depositions, motions practice, and trial preparation
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Case management experience
- Experience representing public entities or school districts is a plus (not required)
