Overview In this role, you will support TRATON USA's R&D endeavors in material validation and testing. You will handle test requests, contribute to cross-functional meetings, and analyze complex material and fastener problems with a collaborative team. You'll help evolve material engineering procedures and support standards across International. Responsibilities- Independently work within the Material Laboratories to support testing, validation, and innovation
- Apply engineering fundamentals to testing, manufacturing, and external test services
- Contribute to internal queries and research projects
- Evolve material engineering procedures and specifications in your area of responsibility
- Support development of material engineering specifications, procedures, and standards for all International
- Domestic and international travel (10%) is required
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
- 1-2 years' validation engineering experience in automotive, commercial, or off-road vehicle industries (preferred)
- Internship or lab/testing experience
- Willingness to work in a team with varying experience levels
