Overview In this role you apply system safety expertise to reduce warfighter risk across DoW programs. You will work within a cross-functional team, delivering safety analyses, reports, and compliance artifacts while improving safety processes. You'll mentor junior staff and contribute to a growing safety practice in a dynamic, client-facing environment. Responsibilities- Lead and manage junior staff in safety tasks and deliverables
- Develop written safety artifacts and participate in results presentations
- Review client system safety artifacts for requirements compliance
- Execute comprehensive system safety programs across diverse platforms
- Analyze data to inform mitigations and risk reduction
- Improve safety processes following established plans and quality standards
Key requirements- 2+ years of system safety experience implementing DoW safety programs
- Experience obtaining lithium battery certifications
- Experience with MIL-STD-882 safety analyses or system safety program implementation
- Ability to convert technical data into clear reports and presentations
- Ability to organize, schedule, and facilitate technical meetings
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science field
