Overview In this role you will lead cross-functional engineering efforts to create cost-effective products and processes aligned with the site and enterprise plans. You will manage a diverse engineering team to identify and execute improvement initiatives across assets, processes, and operations. You will drive capital investments and value stream improvements to boost safety, quality, service, and cost performance, while shaping the site technology deployment strategy. You will partner with EHS and various stakeholders to advance a strong safety culture and support site growth through NPIs and structured change processes.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with Business and Enterprise Supply Chain to set site strategies that balance cost, service, and alignment with the operating plan
- Direct a diverse team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement plans tied to assets, business needs, and processes
- Champion the justification and delivery of critical CAPEX projects with a site technology deployment plan
- Identify and push high-impact Value Stream Improvement Plans (VSIPs) to improve metrics such as TVOS, Conversion Cost, Yield, OTIF, and inventory
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering engagement with Knoxville EHS initiatives to foster a robust safety culture and improve LTI/RTI, spills, fires, and environmental incidents
- Coordinate NPIs and development activities to support site and business growth, and facilitate MOC/CMP processes
Key requirements- Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of combined experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality in any sector
- Two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role in a private/public/government/military environment
