Overview

In this role you support evaluating and executing strategic transactions across JPMorgan's Payments franchise, helping shape the platform's growth. You work with senior leaders to assess subsectors, run due diligence, and structure deals that drive acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. You will deliver financial analyses and investment theses to inform decision-making and capital allocation. This opportunity combines deal execution with strategic platform development in a fast-paced, fintech-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead or contribute to strategic assessments of priority subsectors and investment theses
  • Monitor industry trends and valuation benchmarks to inform decisions
  • Provide analytical insights to support strategic priorities and decisions
  • Support end-to-end execution of M&A and investment transactions
  • Perform financial analysis, valuation, and scenario modeling
  • Coordinate due diligence with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare investment memos and materials for senior management
  • Monitor portfolio performance and assist with capital allocation decisions
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or similar
  • Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling
  • Experience supporting transaction execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including senior-level materials
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams with high ownership and minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities using SEC filings, FactSet, and PitchBook
