Responsibilities- Collect and prepare project data and perform engineering calculations
- Provide basic engineering designs for review by senior staff
- Lead select single-discipline projects, including estimating hours and staffing
- Assist with field work and installation checks
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to obtain project information
- Manage project scope and changes, adjust deliverables
- Deliver work within budgets and schedules
- Develop creative engineering solutions and present to clients
- Maintain professional development through seminars and courses
Key requirements- 6-20+ years of experience in structural design for refinery, chemical, or heavy industrial facilities
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Structural Engineer license preferred
- EIT Certification preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to learn Revit and BIM integration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
