Overview As a Senior Associate, Talent Acquisition, you partner with hiring managers to translate business needs into effective recruiting strategies. You drive full-cycle hiring from intake to onboarding, using data and systems to optimize results. You balance market insights with realistic search plans, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. This role sits at the intersection of talent, process, and strategy, helping Oaktree attract top talent to support its investment platform.

Responsibilities- Partner with hiring managers to clarify talent needs, profiles, interview plans, and timing
- Advise on market positioning, compensation considerations, and search strategy
- Draft clear, market-aligned job descriptions
- Set search milestones and maintain open communication with teams
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies via direct outreach, referrals, internal mobility, and job boards
- Oversee external search firms when needed, including ownership and terms
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and assess fit
- Maintain a respectful, transparent candidate experience and handle pre-employment steps
- Lead offer discussions and negotiate with candidates
- Utilize Workday to manage requisitions, candidate activity, and offers
- Use data and feedback to identify bottlenecks and improve processes
- Share market intelligence and sourcing practices with TA colleagues
- Follow up post-placement to capture learnings for future searches
- Involvement in other tasks as necessary
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in corporate recruiting or executive search
- Experience in investment management or financial services a plus
- Strong direct sourcing and candidate assessment capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple searches and stakeholders with accuracy and responsiveness
- Excellent written and verbal communication; professional representation of the organization
- Working knowledge of ATS, AI recruiting tech; Workday strongly preferred
- Discretion with confidential information and commitment to fair recruiting practices
- Proven contribution to process improvement, employer branding, or recruiting technology initiatives
