Bench Scientist

In this role you will support antibody drug conjugate and targeted immunotherapy drug discovery within the Oncology Rinat Research & Development Histology & Biomarker group. You will perform essential histology workflow tasks and manage sample data to support biomarker development and pharmacodynamics assessment. You will contribute to a dynamic lab environment, maintain an electronic lab notebook, and coordinate with the group manager to align with project needs.

• Receive and database incoming sample pipeline
• Perform histology lab processes: trimming, processing, sectioning, and H&E staining
• Enter data into databases and maintain records
• Maintain lab organization and manage supplies/reagents
• Adapt to changing lab needs in a dynamic research environment
• Meet weekly with the group manager; use basic computer tools (Outlook, Office)

• Bachelor degree with minimum 2 years of academic or industrial research experience
• Understanding of cell biology and the scientific method; laboratory experience
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with electronic laboratory notebook and basic data entry
• Histology experience considered a significant plus but not required
