Overview In this role you will lead the Processor Verification team to verify microprocessor cores and peripherals, shaping verification strategies for complex CPU designs. You will work with DV, ARCH, Design and FW teams to drive coverage goals and ensure robust testbenches and diagnostics. The role combines hands-on verification leadership with building automated flows and reporting on a team of 7-10 engineers. Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Processor Verification team (7-10 engineers)
- Craft and execute verification plans for complex CPU designs
- Develop and maintain simulation/emulation testbenches, diagnostics, assertions, and coverage monitors
- Drive coverage collection and closure
- Collaborate with cross-functional DV/Arch/Design/FW teams to define coverage scope
- Oversee development of fully automated verification flows
- Ensure successful gate level simulations and formal verification efforts
- Communicate progress and issues through written and oral channels
Key requirements- 17+ years of design verification experience
- BS in EE/Computer Engineering (or higher)
- Proven leadership/management experience
- Strong knowledge of computer architecture and verification fundamentals
- Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience with assembly language programming
- Exposure to scripting languages (Perl, Unix shell)
- Experience with automated flows and gate level simulations
- Familiarity with formal verification a plus
