Overview In this role you drive the growth and quality of Embark's outsourcing accounting practice for E&P/upstream clients. You will lead and execute high-level accounting services across multiple clients, ensuring accurate close and reporting in line with US GAAP. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver exceptional client service while supporting the firm's people-first culture. The position blends technical accounting leadership with client-facing program management, and offers meaningful opportunities to shape a growing practice.

Responsibilities- Record and report financial transactions for multiple clients
- Manage accounts payable and JIB, revenue and other operational accounting tasks
- Oversee month/quarter/year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial and management reports
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service
- Support growth of the outsourcing practice and client relationships
- Ensure adherence to Embark's standards and processes
- Collaborate with clients across various industries and systems
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher
- 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting, focused on E&P/upstream
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Operational accounting experience (revenue and AP/JIB)
- Financial reporting background
- Experience with multiple accounting systems (Quorum On Demand preferred; Enertia, PakEnergy or similar)
