Overview

In this role you will join a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm's Commercial Litigation Practice, handling sophisticated disputes for local, national, and international clients. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant case exposure and growth opportunities across trial and appellate work. You will collaborate with partners and clients to deliver practical, business-oriented legal counsel and manage cases through all stages of litigation. Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation
  • Collaborate with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Work directly with clients to provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel
  • Manage cases through all stages of litigation including discovery, trial preparation, and appeals
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
  • Develop case strategies and collaborate with partners on high-stakes disputes
Key requirements
  • 4-6 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation
  • JD from a top-tier law school
  • Active Bar Admission in Oregon in good standing or ability to waive in
  • Class action litigation experience a plus
  • Active Bar Admission in Washington and/or California a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
  • Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Client-facing and business-oriented advisory capabilities
  • Drafting pleadings and briefs
  • Discovery management
  • Motion practice
