Overview

In this role, you drive new business growth by securing transportation and fleet accounts and building a robust pipeline. You'll act as a trusted advisor, delivering customized insurance and risk management solutions while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a superior client experience. You'll engage with carrier partners and networks to expand market reach and help clients navigate coverage gaps. This is a collaborative, high-performance role with strong growth and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure transportation, trucking, and fleet accounts across operators and fleets
  • Develop and expand a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, and outreach
  • Serve as trusted advisor to clients, delivering insurance and risk management solutions
  • Partner with account management, service, and carrier teams to deliver competitive solutions
  • Retain and grow existing accounts by identifying coverage gaps and opportunities
  • Lead client strategy discussions, renewal meetings, and executive relationships
  • Mentor team members and share industry knowledge and best practices
  • Utilize market intelligence and industry trends to enhance prospecting and service
  • Oversee smooth onboarding and transitions for new clients
  • Develop and execute strategic plan focused on revenue growth and market expansion
  • Foster relationships with carrier partners and internal teams to maximize opportunities
  • Represent the organization in industry events and associations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year related experience and appropriate insurance licensing OR Bachelor's degree with Gallagher's Sales Internship Program and licensing OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years experience
