Overview As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will support the firm's California-focused labor and employment practice by handling investigations, litigation, and advisory matters. You will work within the labor and employment team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and provide strategic counsel to clients. The role offers exposure to discrimination, wage-hour, and whistleblower matters, as well as participation in negotiations and hearings. You will drive outcomes through precise filings, depositions, and discovery management, contributing to the firm's mission of strong, compliant advocacy.

Responsibilities- Lead and document workplace investigations
- Manage employment litigation across discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower claims
- Provide advice on FLSA and wage-and-hour issues, including class and collective actions
- Draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda with accuracy
- Take and defend depositions professionally
- Oversee discovery processes in an organized, timely manner
- Support ADA/FEHA compliance and disability accommodation matters
- Participate in labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations
- Handle administrative hearings and appeals with precision
- Utilize arbitration and investigation skills to promote fair workplace practices
