Responsibilities- Lead software engineering enablement and adoption of CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, AI-assisted and cloud-native development
- Partner with Software Engineering Center of Excellence to set standards and accelerate delivery
- Collaborate with engineering teams to boost delivery velocity, quality, and developer experience with modern capabilities
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and ensure security, governance, and architectural alignment
- Work with architects to establish reusable patterns, reference architectures, and standards
- Identify opportunities for customer-facing digital products and capabilities to drive growth and efficiency
- Guide AI and agentic AI initiatives to improve productivity, customer experience, and revenue
- Lead transformation initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable outcomes
- Coordinate with external partners and internal teams to prioritize custom software, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
- Establish prioritization frameworks and reporting to drive accountability and transparency
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and simplify technology environments to reduce complexity
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-focused problem solving
- Serve as trusted advisor to CTO and senior leaders on emerging tech and transformation strategies
- Build partnerships across business lines to ensure technology investments deliver value
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams; external representation with partners and industry groups
Key requirements- 10+ years in technology leadership spanning enterprise transformation, software engineering, AI adoption, and emerging tech
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record delivering AI-enabled products, cloud technologies, modern software practices, automation, and enterprise platforms
- Experience leading large-scale modernization and organizational change in regulated environments with measurable outcomes
- Ability to drive delivery at pace via prioritization, decisive leadership, barrier removal, and accountability
- Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions and leveraging technology partners and ecosystems
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, communication, change leadership, and stakeholder management
- Relevant certifications preferred: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, TOGAF, SAFe, PMP, ITIL, or recognized AI/ML certifications
