Overview In this role you lead a Civil Engineering group within Milhouse Aviation, providing technical direction and overseeing all plans and projects. You will mentor staff, manage scopes and budgets, and ensure quality and timely delivery while expanding client relationships. The position offers hands-on project leadership with exposure to taxiway/runway design and related infrastructure, in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership to staff, clients, and peers within the focused discipline
- Support business growth by delivering high-quality work for existing clients
- Conduct skills gap analysis and prescribe targeted training
- Assist project managers with scopes, schedules, and budgets for group work
- Act as Project Manager or technical resource to meet billability targets
- Monitor performance against quality, scope, schedule, and budget constraints
- Identify and proactively resolve problems
- Foster professional relationships with clients and team members
- Support proposal efforts aligned with regional/group needs
- Participate in RFP/RFQ processes including site visits, client meetings, scope development, and project planning
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 10+ years of design experience
- PE license required
- 5+ years of experience leading a related field team
