Overview

In this role you will lead Hyundai Motor America's Incentive Planning function, driving competitive analysis, budgeting, and incentive scenario development across the EV model line. You will collaborate with Sales and regional teams to optimize program spend and governance processes, while shaping pricing, subventions, and communications with leadership. You will manage a team and partner with finance and product lines to deliver data-driven incentives that support company goals. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines analytics, budgeting, and strategic program management to influence profitability and market competitiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead incentive planning and budgeting for the EV model line.
  • Gather input from Sales and regional offices to shape future incentive programs.
  • Collaborate to determine efficient program spend and participate in budget planning.
  • Consolidate competitive data and support monthly governance processes.
  • Prepare pricing inputs for HMF retail and lease programs and develop incentive recommendations for leadership.
  • Manage HMA budget forecasting with input from HMF; validate subvention programs and authorize payments.
  • Maintain competitive data sources and SME on regional incentive programs.
  • Communicate program performance to Sales and recommend improvements.
  • Manage direct reports, coach staff, and allocate workload within budget and goal constraints.
  • Route HMF APR and lease subvention payments; initiate PO requests for data vendors.
  • Oversee hiring and performance evaluations for direct reports.
Key requirements
  • Six or more years of experience in automotive/related field with emphasis on quantitative and competitive analyses.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing large financial budgets.
  • Excellent operations management skills; familiarity with C&I activities is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills for senior management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with programming languages.
