Overview In this Senior Stress Analyst role, you apply advanced analysis methods to develop and validate structural models for high-performance defense systems. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and schedule alignment. You'll tackle complex stress and dynamics challenges using simulations and test data. This position offers the chance to contribute to mission-critical solutions in a multidisciplinary environment and impact secure operations.
Responsibilities- Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models and perform structural/dynamic analyses
- Reduce test data and correlate results to validate models
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures meeting requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from ABET-accredited university
- 4-8 years with bachelor's degree or 2-6 years with master's degree
- Experience with commercial finite element analysis tools (FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment and as part of a team or as sole analyst
- U.S. citizenship and Final Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
