Overview In this role you lead the Quality & Food Safety team to ensure products meet ADM, regulatory, and customer requirements. You drive compliance across QA, lab activities, and supplier interactions, and prepare the site for audits and certifications. You collaborate with Operations to resolve issues, implement CAPA and root cause actions, and strengthen the site's food safety program. The position offers impact through audit readiness, program ownership, and cross-functional leadership within a global食品 safety framework.

Responsibilities- Lead QA/food safety team (QC staff, Lab Manager) to meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Verify quality and product safety checks are completed and high-risk activities are done before shipment
- Schedule monitoring activities (carryover, uniformity, scale checks, traceability) and monitor product quality
- Communicate out-of-spec conditions to production and Regional QFS Manager; document discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Prepare for customer audits and third-party certifications (FSSC, GMP+); lead facility during audits
- Provide quality training and maintain training records for new hires and contractors
- Manage monthly GMP plant inspections and investigate manufacturing errors, generating CAPA reports
- Use deviation reports to determine disposition of product; approve release or disposal
- Conduct complaint investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions; implement fixes
- Ensure high-risk equipment validation, oversee Pest Control Program and follow-up on corrective actions
- PCQI Coordinator: maintain food safety plan, manage control points, and keep risk assessments current
- Coordinate routine food safety meetings and management reviews; manage recalls with divisional guidance
- Develop site-specific work instructions; lead FDA and internal audits; coordinate sample testing with QC Regional Manager
- Lead policy platform initiatives and collaborate on sample retains and testing requirements
Key requirements- Knowledge of FDA and state regulatory requirements
- Trained in Preventive Controls for Human Food and/or Animal Food preferred
- Highly organized
- Effective use of Microsoft Office applications
