Overview As a Project Manager in Bellevue, you drive project delivery from planning to completion, building strong client relationships and leading teams to excellence in safety, quality, and performance. You'll own project success, manage budgets and schedules, and pursue value through design-build and other delivery methods. Responsibilities- Provides contract administration, technical support, and leadership on a medium-sized project
- Develops and enforces the project safety plan and leads safety practices
- Ensures work is built per design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule
- Offers value engineering proposals to improve functionality, cost, and schedule
- Manages performance with status reports for safety, cost, and schedule
- Negotiates subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments and tracks progress
- Ensures understanding and enforcement of contract documents
- Coordinates project closeout
- Identifies and manages risks and opportunities
- For design-build: monitors design progress, quality, coordination, constructability, and deliverables timing; conducts design-quality planning and quality audits
- Keeps stakeholders informed of opportunities and challenges and manages expectations through communication
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred
- Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture and compliance with health, safety, and environment principles and legislation
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, codes, and safety/quality management
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with budgeting and scheduling ability
- Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling software, with aptitude for new technology
