Director, Advisory Services (Government Pricing, Pricing & Reimbursement)

Overview

In this role you will serve as a senior advisor on government pricing, compliance, and contracting for state and federal programs. You will lead complex client engagements, translating regulatory challenges into actionable pricing strategies and risk plans. You will guide pre-commercial and established manufacturers on compliant pricing and contracting throughout the product lifecycle, and mentor the advisory team while contributing to thought leadership. This position offers a chance to shape pricing strategy and compliance frameworks at scale in a cross-functional, executive-facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on government pricing methods and calculations across Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, FSS, and related programs
  • Lead complex client engagements focused on pricing operations, compliance, policy interpretation, audit readiness, and risk mitigation
  • Model financial and compliance implications of pricing and contracting decisions with scenario analyses
  • Support pre-commercial and emerging manufacturers with compliant pricing frameworks and pre-launch activities
  • Develop and present executive-ready recommendations translating regulatory pricing challenges into business solutions
  • Mentor team members and contribute to practice development and thought leadership
  • Manage project workplans, budgets, timelines, risks, and client satisfaction
  • Innovate analytic approaches and integrate clinical, commercial, and access perspectives to inform decisions
  • Lead strategic initiatives aligned to Advisory mission and growth priorities
  • Oversee onboarding, learning pathways, succession planning, and staffing decisions
  • Drive business development by shaping proposals, pricing, and pursuing opportunities
  • Generate and present industry thought leadership content and represent the firm professionally
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or licensure preferred
  • 10-12 years of experience in life sciences consulting or related field
  • Proven track record of leading large multi-project engagements
  • Established executive relationships and industry expertise
  • Proven ability to scale teams, methods, and offerings
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account growth
