Overview In this Medical Science Liaison role, you will serve as a field-based scientific resource supporting AML clinical development and Medical Affairs. You will engage investigators and healthcare professionals, sharing clinical and translational data while gathering insights on disease biology, MRD, relapse risk, and evolving care standards. You'll work with cross-functional teams to shape research and communication strategies and increase company visibility among oncology stakeholders. This role offers high-impact interaction with leaders in AML research and patient care.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, and hematology/oncology leaders across the territory
- Engage in compliant, peer-to-peer scientific discussions on AML, biomarkers, MRD, relapse risk, and standards of care
- Support disease-state and scientific education programs, advisory boards, and investigator meetings
- Execute scientific exchange with HCPs and stakeholders using approved materials
- Identify medical education needs and initiate investigator-initiated studies
- Provide investigators with technical support for study development
- Communicate key clinical and research issues to leadership to inform strategy
- Maintain clinical expertise through conferences and literature review
- Enhance visibility and collaboration with industry leaders
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams to execute the field medical plan
- Document scientific interactions and insights in CRM or insight management systems
- Ensure ethical, compliant, and high-integrity conduct in all activities
Key requirements- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, DNP, NP, PA or equivalent preferred)
- MSL experience or relevant clinical experience in hematology/oncology (min 4 years)
- Min 3 years of hematology/oncology experience with therapeutic area expertise
- Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences
- Understanding of healthcare stakeholder segments, treatment landscapes, and market dynamics in oncology
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 70% and possess valid driver's license
- Knowledge of clinical trials processes, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines
- Experience with clinical development, clinical practice, or scientific engagement in pharma/biotech
