Overview As Program Director, you will lead two online master's programs (HRMD and IOP) and contribute to the dual degree. You will align curriculum with problem-based, experiential learning to empower working professionals to advance in HR and business careers. You'll oversee program administration, teaching across modalities, curriculum development, and student support, while driving enrollment, assessment, and accreditation goals. You will collaborate with the GSBL team to build a vibrant, student-centered learning community and strengthen industry partnerships. Responsibilities- Deliver master's level courses in multiple modalities (in person, online, blended)
- Advise and advocate for students to support academic progress and career goals
- Drive curriculum development, course updates, and learning-outcome assessment
- Lead program administration, including enrollment and retention goals, scheduling, and faculty staffing
- Manage program quality and accreditation efforts (Quality Matters)
- Collaborate with the Dean and enrollment team; represent programs to internal/external stakeholders
- Mentor full-time and adjunct faculty; support faculty development and staffing
- Oversee program reviews (annual and five-year) and maintain program assessment processes
- Advise SHRM chapter and support student activities related to HR profession
- Engage in external partnerships and field engagement to enhance program prestige
Key requirements- Doctorate in HR, IO Psychology, Organizational Development, Business, Leadership or closely related field
- Five years of full-time professional practice experience in administrative, managerial, and/or executive roles
- Evidence of research publications or presentations in relevant fields
- Record of effective teaching in higher education and online/hybrid formats
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and student success
- Experience in learning-outcome assessment and curriculum development
- Experience using technology and AI in teaching and course development
- Professional memberships in HR and/or IO Psychology (SHRM-related preferred)
