Overview In this role you will analyze credit risk for consumer and commercial loan/lease origination, helping to shape credit policy and measure risk. You will monitor portfolio performance by region and dealer network, collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions. The role focuses on applying data analytics to mitigate risk, support policy changes, and quantify credit impact at scale. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic, cross-functional environment with meaningful exposure to portfolio optimization.

Responsibilities- Analyze credit risk exposure for consumer and commercial loan/lease origination activities
- Develop, maintain and monitor origination credit policies and lending stipulations
- Quantify credit risk using data mining and advanced spreadsheet techniques
- Monitor portfolio performance by region, center, and dealership
- Summarize findings and present actionable recommendations to management
- Assess impact of policy changes on loan/lease volume and credit performance
- Conduct ad hoc research projects including data collection and results presentation
- Coordinate multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
Key requirements- Data warehouse familiarity
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
- Data analysis and spreadsheet modeling experience
- SAS or SQL for data mining and manipulation
- Strong querying skills in a data warehouse environment
- Quantitative analytics capability
- Collaborative, proactive with internal customers
- Experience managing multiple projects under deadlines
- Understanding of metrics used to monitor consumer/commercial lending performance
- 2-4 years in consumer and/or commercial loan/lease origination analysis
