Overview Senior Project Manager (Waterfront) leads complex marine infrastructure initiatives from design through delivery. You guide cross functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects meet financial, technical, and schedule goals. This role blends technical credibility with strategic leadership to support firm growth and long term partnerships. You'll influence project pursuits, contribute to business development, and uphold safety and quality standards. Relocation is available and you'll work in East Greenwich, RI.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Provide leadership across multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- Oversee use of engineering and CAD software to prepare design documents
- Prepare agreements, set goals, budgets, schedules, and staffing
- Act as project manager and client contact for complex projects
- Monitor schedules, deadlines, and budgets to ensure profitability
- Maintain understanding of project financials, invoicing, and AR
- Lead pursuit activities including proposals, scoping, cost estimation, and contracts
- Support business development and attend meetings outside normal hours
- Promote safety and maintain professional conduct in line with firm standards
Key requirements- Bachelor's (and/or Master's) degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- 10+ years in progressive project management experience
- Experience in evaluation and structural design of waterfront infrastructure (ports, marinas)
- Experience with public/federal/port authority/municipal clients a plus
