Overview As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead for the Rocket Motor Program, you will steer complex projects with general oversight and drive improvements to manufacturing processes. You collaborate across functions to align operational practices with program goals and company objectives. You will read and refine work instructions, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions to meet departmental targets. This role supports planning efforts and requires the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance, with limited travel.
Responsibilities- Lead the Rocket Motor Program manufacturing engineering efforts
- Manage complex projects with general oversight
- Update and improve work instructions for clarity
- Drive moderate to substantial process and system improvements
- Contribute to department goals and operating plans
- Investigate root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Support achievement of operational targets
- Minimal travel; ability to obtain US Secret clearance
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Graduate Degree in Engineering with minimum 4 years of experience
- In lieu of a degree, 10 years of related experience
