Privacy Associate Attorney - Midlevel

In this role you support clients on US privacy compliance and product counseling within a collaborative, client focused firm. You will help build data protection programs, assess privacy risks, and negotiate data agreements, contributing to high risk topics like AI and biometric data. You'll work with cross functional teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical policies and programs, shaping how clients manage privacy at scale.

• Advise on US federal and state privacy laws for clients
• Develop internal data protection programs and conduct privacy assessments
• Create and map data flows and perform data protection impact assessments
• Draft privacy policies and negotiate data processing agreements
• Advise on high risk privacy issues (AI, adtech, health data, biometric data, kids data)

• 4-8 years of experience in privacy and product counseling
• Experience advising on privacy laws (US federal and state)
• Strong academic credentials
• Prior peer law firm experience is a plus
