Overview As Maintenance Reliability Manager, you lead maintenance resources to enable Howmet Wheels Cleveland to meet its production objectives. You provide technical leadership for mechanical and electric systems and drive reliability programs across a 24/7 operation. You will partner with site leaders, contractors, and union stakeholders to optimize maintenance, safety, and costs. Responsibilities- Lead and direct maintenance resources to achieve site objectives
- Provide technical leadership for mechanical and electrical equipment systems
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Drive Reliability Excellence and proactive maintenance initiatives to optimize resources
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Identify cost reduction and productivity opportunities in maintenance activities
- Support 24/7 manufacturing operations and asset base of 300+ million across multiple plants
- Coach and develop direct and indirect reports; participate in HR-related processes and talent development
- Ensure compliance with safety, EHS objectives, and labor relations per union agreements
- Recruit, train, and onboard maintenance talent and external resources; participate in apprenticeship programs
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to benchmark and share best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering or related field or 10 years of maintenance experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
- Proficiency with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics
- Experience with PLC ladder logic
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- ITAR US person status (U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, etc.)
