Overview In this role, you will support multiple Cleans processes in a high-volume semiconductor fab to boost equipment and process performance, cut losses, and drive continuous improvement. You will work within cross-functional teams to implement Six-Sigma SPC methods, develop specs, and contribute to capacity planning. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with process optimization and development activities, across 24x7 operations. You'll help elevate yield, tool utilization, and cost efficiency while fostering a world-class manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Reduce defectivity across Cleans processes
- Cut cycle times and improve tool utilization and availability
- Identify and fix recurrent machine faults
- Drive scrap reduction and yield improvement
- Support development activities and write specifications
- Implement Six-Sigma SPC methods
- Engage in capacity planning and modeling
- Participate in or lead cross-functional and lean activity teams
- Train others in processes and methods
Key requirements- BS or MS in engineering or science
- 7+ years in process engineering in a high-volume semiconductor environment (preferred)
- Experience in Cleans processes (preferred)
- Proficiency with listed toolsets: SCP9400, WS-820L, Akrion GAMA, Semitool SST, SAT, RADR, Screen 80B/80EX, FSI Mercury/Zeta
- Ability to analyze equipment and process data and generate timely action plans
- Strong presentation and training skills
- Troubleshooting and logical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-motivation and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
- Lean Manufacturing experience (highly desirable)
