Overview As West Regional Water Structural Lead, you drive the structural design of water, wastewater, and storm water facilities and supporting buildings. You'll lead a team within the Water Structures group, contributing to impactful projects and elevating technical standards. You'll collaborate with cross functional teams to develop contract plans, estimates, and specifications, while providing field and office construction support. Responsibilities- Lead structural design of water, wastewater, and storm water conveyance and treatment facilities and related support buildings
- Apply familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, CBC, IBC, AWWA) in project work
- Develop contract plans, engineer's estimates, and construction specifications
- Provide field and office construction support services
- Mentor and coach staff to maintain high-quality, timely deliverables
Key requirements- Minimum 10+ years in design of water and wastewater structures
- California PE License required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and responsiveness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership qualities with ability to coach and mentor staff
- Experience with CBC, ACI 318/350, AISC, CMACN, NDS Design Values for Wood Construction
