Overview In this role you will be the subject-matter expert for PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and plant operating systems, driving high-impact automation work. You collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, test, and implement advanced modifications for fast, reliable production lines. You lead automation innovations and strategies to maximize uptime and performance while resolving complex electrical and control-system challenges. Responsibilities- Design, test, and integrate advanced modifications for high-speed production lines
- Lead implementation and strategic recommendations for current and future automation projects
- Perform proactive maintenance to maximize system uptime and reliability
- Diagnose and resolve complex automation, instrumentation, and robotic system challenges across material transfer
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems independently, even with limited documentation or data
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (BSEE preferred)
- 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree or 5+ years with a technical degree/certification
- Advanced proficiency with Rockwell Software-Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000/500, FactoryTalk View Studio
- Hands-on experience designing and laying out control panels; extensive knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
- Advanced diagnostics skills with multimeters, loop simulators, and megger tools
