Sr. Currency Administration Product Development Specialist

Overview

In this role, you will lead product development efforts for the Global foreign exchange business, guiding business analysis, requirements, and testing to shape currency administration solutions. You'll identify product opportunities and contribute to strategic planning, collaborating across Systems, Risk, FX, and Operations. You drive process improvements and efficient delivery of enhancements, delivering impact for clients and the business. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that blends analytics, project management, and client service to advance BBH's FX capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Review and document business requirements for currency administration development items
  • Create test scenarios and cases for integrated system tests
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and ensure thorough systems testing
  • Identify product gaps and opportunities, proposing solutions
  • Manage business implications of technology implementations and drive process improvements
  • Support currency administration client service teams
  • Manage product development initiatives from inception to implementation
  • Ensure timely delivery of enhancements within scope and cost parameters
  • Facilitate cross-group communication across Systems, Risk, FX and Operations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Fund Accounting and/or Currency Administration experience advantageous
  • Strong business analysis skills including requirements, proposals, and workflows
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange trading instruments
  • Excellent interpersonal, advisory, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with MS Office; Excel proficiency; VBA and other coding languages
  • Strong interpersonal and advisory abilities
