Overview Senior Product Manager for MilliporeSigma's Multiomics portfolio within Biochemistry. You own the end-to-end lifecycle, from identifying unmet needs to delivering an innovative pipeline, balancing science and commercial impact. You will work cross-functionally to translate omics science into business results and lead P&L for the portfolio. This key role sits in the Chemistry Discovery Solutions area and collaborates with R&D, marketing, and external partners to shape the future of metabolomics and glycomics.

Responsibilities- Define and own the multi-year product roadmap for metabolomics and glycomics across sample prep to data interpretation
- Identify white-space opportunities via VOCs, market analysis, and literature; translate insights into development briefs
- Prioritize and govern the innovation pipeline through stage-gate processes from ideation to launch
- Own P&L performance for the multiomics portfolio including revenue, margin, and market share
- Develop and execute product launches and GTM plans, including pricing and channel strategy
- Create workflow-based bundles and protocol libraries to drive pull-through in Biochemistry
- Collaborate with marketing to produce technical content (application notes, webinars, conference talks)
- Support sales with competitive briefings and deal support; manage lifecycle and phase-out of underperforming SKUs
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships with instrument manufacturers, software providers, and academic centers
- Collaborate on in-licensing, co-development, and acquisition opportunities
- Build network with KOLs and represent at major conferences (ASMS, Metabolomics Society, HUPO, SLAS)
- Align R&D, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders on priorities
- Partner with R&D and Applications to define product specs and ensure application relevance
- Mentor junior product management and marketing staff
Key requirements- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Metabolomics, Glycobiology, or related life science discipline
- 8+ years in product management, strategic marketing, or related commercial role in life science tools or analytical chemistry
- Demonstrated metabolomics and/or glycomics expertise from research or portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, NMR, CE-MS, or other multiomics platforms
- Proven P&L ownership with market sizing, competitive benchmarking, financial modeling, and business cases
- Track record launching products with pricing, positioning, and channel strategy in life science tools
