AML Investigator

In this role you will conduct sophisticated financial analysis and investigations into suspected money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crimes. You will work within Fidelity's Financial Intelligence Unit to identify suspicious activity and help maintain a compliant AML program. You'll file SARs with FinCEN when needed and collaborate with AMLO and Compliance to protect Fidelity and its customers. This is a hands-on, decision-heavy role that supports regulatory requirements and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced security-focused environment.

• Investigate incidents of possible suspicious activity across multiple financial crime domains
• Perform financial analysis to identify patterns and anomalies indicating AML/TF risk
• File Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with FinCEN when warranted
• Support AMLO efforts to maintain an effective AML program and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Compliance, AMLO, and external regulators as needed
• Interact with senior executives and work within a small, collaborative team to drive risk management and protection of Fidelity and customers

• College degree and/or 8-10 years of relevant experience
• 2+ years in the financial services industry
• Previous risk management/compliance/AML experience a plus
• Detailed knowledge of brokerage operations
• FINRA Series 7 preferred
• Working knowledge of Fidelity systems a plus
• Understanding of the financial services industry and its products
