Overview In this role you will shape the vision and strategy for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' Specialty Testing, aligning medical affairs with product development, regulatory, and commercial goals. You will partner with external partners and societies to advance scientific positioning and clinical utility globally. You will lead pre-launch to lifecycle activities, driving evidence generation and collaboration with KOLs to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities- Steer cross-functional collaboration to define research priorities for product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing
- Foster internal and external partnerships, and develop talent within the MedSci function
- Establish academic collaborations and solicit investigator-initiated research aligned with Beckman needs
- Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies for Beckman solutions
- Build and maintain influential relationships with KOLs to guide scientific exchange and future technologies
- Translate clinical and scientific insights from KOLs into actionable guidance for product teams
- Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization, and life cycle management through education and evidence generation
Key requirements- Doctorate level with at least 20 years in medical and clinical affairs
- Board-certified hematologist
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication across diverse audiences
- Strong leadership to foster transparency, collaboration, and innovative thinking
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities; capable of influencing at multiple levels
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with continuous improvement mindset
- Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology (bone health, anemia, immunology)
- Willingness to travel 50% (domestic and international)
