Overview Senior AI Scientist at Intuit drives AI/ML initiatives across products, security, and customer care. You will build and deploy models using both traditional analytics and deep learning, shaping features and experiments with cross-functional teams. You'll turn large data into actionable insights, improving relevance and personalization. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a collaborative AI group that directly touches hundreds of thousands of customers.

Responsibilities- Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with large data sets
- Apply data mining, NLP, and machine learning to improve relevance and personalization
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and designers to design experiments and MVPs
- Identify and obtain data sources, perform ETL, and prepare data for modeling
- Create and refine features; develop intuition for feature effectiveness
- Run A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Explore new design or technology shifts to enhance customer benefits
Key requirements- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research (or closely related field)
- 1+ years of industry AI experience
- 1+ years experience with Python or R and scikit-learn
- Proficiency in SQL, Hive, or SparkSQL
- Comfortable in Linux environment
- 1+ years experience in data mining and statistical modeling (clustering, classification, regression, decision trees, neural nets, SVM, anomaly detection, recommender systems, sequential pattern discovery, text mining)
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues to diverse audiences
