Overview

In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate administration documents for private fund clients, coordinating with global teams and external counsel. You will manage document workflows, ensure accuracy, and address legal issues across US, Europe, Asia-Pacific. You'll interact with clients and internal stakeholders to keep documents current amid evolving laws and privacy regulations. This position sits at the nexus of legal, fund services and technology initiatives, offering exposure to a global, cross-functional environment. You will contribute to a high-value documentation workflow that supports a leading fund administration platform.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate administration/service agreements with private fund clients
  • Review client offering, organizational, and subscription documents and provide comments to client counsel
  • Implement MSFS technology initiatives (e.g., Online Forms) with global operational teams
  • Manage document workflows to ensure accuracy and timely client presentation
  • Engage with clients and investors including in-house and external counsel
  • Coordinate resolution of legal questions arising from investor services and accounting teams
Key requirements
  • Experience in a legal role supporting investment management (law firm, bank, hedge fund administrator, or similar)
  • Experience delivering subject-matter trainings and developing knowledge resources
  • Ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders under tight deadlines
  • AML regulation knowledge and policy drafting
  • Familiarity with CIMA and Cayman Islands regulation for alternative funds
  • JD with corporate law experience; financial services and alternative investments background
  • Strong contract drafting/review/negotiation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn proprietary systems
