Overview In this role you lead Semgrep's supply chain team to build developer facing tools that reduce noise and help secure dependencies. You partner with product and design to steer a focused roadmap, mentor engineers, and shape data systems and security tooling. You translate customer feedback into tangible product outcomes while maintaining high technical quality. You play a pivotal part in making supply chain security simple and actionable for developers at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead the supply chain tooling effort to reduce noise and surface reachable vulnerabilities
- Shape and execute a quarterly roadmap with product and design partners
- Prioritize team work, balancing new tech with internal quality
- Coach and mentor engineers, provide feedback and performance management
- Foster a trustworthy culture that rewards creativity and accountability
- Grow the team through hiring and talent development
- Make direct technical contributions to deliver new features and understand team work
- Define goals in team meetings and align short-term delivery with long-term vision
Key requirements- 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong product development background and production delivery via cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with agile development principles and iterative milestones
- Desire to coach and mentor engineers and leaders
- Opinions on Software Composition Analysis or prior security/dev tooling product experience
